The GOALS Center works with students and their families from across Douglas and Sarpy counties.

Services are aimed at addressing the root causes of absenteeism. We know that absences are often tied to health conditions, family situations, poverty, and other factors that are beyond a student's control. We follow the research and guidelines of Attendance Works and other evidence based models.

The GOALS Center Services has specially trained Family Advocates that work directly with schools, students and their families to address the root causes of absenteeism.

Family Advocates work with students and their families for an average of 6-12 months
Students are met with weekly or bi-weekly to check in
Family Advocates meet with caregivers monthly
Service plans are created to help students and their families reach their goals
